Daffodil Meadow Contemplation Center
step into our world…Idyll Dandy Acres, from America ReCycled
and hear the story…
I look back at how my journey has unfolded, each step giving rise to the next. Embedded in whatever way I may have stumbled is perfect order. This land has called me home to continue my work as a space holder for the unfolding of perfect order.
I have spent the last four years getting to know this land and who I am on it. People have come here through out this time for healing. Whether people have come for an hour or years they have all felt the support and magic this land offers.
I believe it is time to open the space in a more focused way. Creating Daffodil Meadow Contemplation Center is the next step of the journey.
So here I am living on 56 acres on an incredible beautiful mountain in a thriving community of homesteaders, artists and craftspeople. Daffodil Meadow is on Short Mountain in middle Tennessee. Short Mountain is the headwaters for three different watersheds and is the highest point between the Ozark and Appalachian Mountains.
Life at the Meadow is deeply rooted in the land. There are no modern conveniences. Solar power, a water system and a bathhouse are in the works. But for the most part it is a place where life can be experienced first hand, a place where a connection to the natural world can be deeply explored.
The Meadow has put a call out to people for the purpose of this deepening connection to our most natural self. Guided by the vision statement, “Co-creating space for love’s most bold and beautiful expression”, I am in service to that call. I don’t know what will happen. I just know this is the next step. I realize that what happens next depends on the people that come.
So I offer Daffodil Meadow Contemplation Center and myself as support in your journey of becoming.

The Meadow on the Move
Peace and love my friends. I hope this finds you doing well. Thank you again for holding space with us here at the Meadow. I take your commitment seriously and want you to know what is happening.
Life here has remained in full color. There are now two new homes at the Meadow, the Tiny House and the Dream Boat. The garden has been worked and planted deeply. There is a new outhouse and recycling center. Trees have been cut and milled and we now have enough wood for a planned tool shed.
There has been beautiful music and the band played shows in Nashville. I did three story telling events. We have hosted ongoing visitors and so beautiful to include the children. We now have 18 dogs on the land. Ma had 14 puppies on Easter. And there are currently 8 people living here.
And with all that the Meadow moves again, three of the people who have been here over the past year have decided to leave. It has been a challenging process working through the range of feelings when people decide to leave. I work to hold onto the truth of my stories as the Meadow rides out this turbulence. The Meadow is a powerful place at all levels. On this journey I am learning to let go and open myself to the next. I have witnessed these changes a number of times now and I am coming to trust the next unfolding. I look forward to seeing what magic has happened by the next update.
Know you are always welcome and thank you again for your support.
Peace and love, mati
